To assist clients with housing options, housing counselors can help clients determine what type of housing may be most appropriate depending on their circumstances. We will also provide available rental resources for clients seeking rental housing assistance.
Under the Housing Stabilization Program (HSP), clients who meet income criteria and have a qualifying hardship, may be eligible for assistance.
LCHDC is currently accepting applications for rental and utility assistance, an initiative designed to help connect homeless persons or those at risk of homelessness with
resources and services that will (1) aid in the household’s pursuit of financial stability and/or (2) provide assistance available for avoiding homelessness.
Types of assistance include:
- Delinquent Rent Payments to landlords
- Delinquent Utility Payments (e.g. Electric, Water, etc.) to service providers
- Move-In Deposits: (e.g. Rent, Utilities, etc.) Depending upon funding availability
For assistance, please complete the Rental Assistance Intake Application and Hardship Affidavit below. Please note, you will be redirected to Citrix, our Secure Filesharing Software. Once you complete the Intake Application, a housing counselor will contact you within the next two business days to discuss next steps and begin the eligibility process. You will receive additional communication informing you how to submit supporting documents to our office for review.
