Lehigh Oaks is a 60-lot single-family home community that is being developed to provide affordable

housing for lower income, first-time homebuyers. The Lee County Housing Development Corporation

(DC)HHHDC), a non-profit organization that has assisted over 125 families in Lee County with the

purchase of their homes, and National Development of America, LLC, (NDA) a local affordable housing

provider, have joined together to form Lehigh Oaks, LLC to oversee the development, construction, and

sales of homes in this single family community.

When she came in for her initial interview, she told us that she has been dreaming of owning her own

home but at her age (49) and her low income she never thought it was possible.
